CHANEL No. 5 - My New Staple Fragrance

My little brother is horrible at giving gifts. As far as I can remember, I haven't gotten anything from him for Xmas or my birthday in years. Part of it is because he doesn't work (he's a teenager) but I find that to be no excuse! Anyway, this year, he's finally working and when he asked me what I wanted for my birthday and X-mas (they're on the same day), I had to take this one chance and request CHANEL's No. 5 perfume.

At $74 for a 35ml bottle, I would not have been able to justify buying this big a purchase for myself. But this was definitely a different case. Now, I know it's a Christmas + Birthday and I should have waited till the 25th to open it but I couldn't wait. The perfume was just dying to be taken out of the Sephora gift bag and to be opened.

I love the scent. I actually have it sitting right next to me and, whenever I feel the need, take off the lid, hold my nose close to the sprayer and take a big whiff. Aahhhhh.

I've only used it a couple of times fully so I can't review its staying power and all that just yet. But based on the scent alone, CHANEL's No. 5 perfume is now my official scent.
